New Merch’ Monday: Aloha Cotton Scarf

brown and pink scarf

As we transition from winter to Spring (‘kay, Mother Nature?  It’s time for sunshine), one must consider the weather in one’s shopping excursions.

Being a lover of all things oversized, I am drawn to the Aloha Cotton Scarf like a cat to a laser pointer: full-on pounce mode.

The print is really unique, as it’s slightly tribal and leaflike, yet doesn’t necessarily give an ethnic vibe.  Color-wise, both schemes provide a cool way to incorporate pink and purple without looking like you’re wearing…pink and purple.

Not that those colors are undesirable; I just know I, personally, never wear them, because I feel too girly.  The Aloha keeps the girl factor in check, mixing pink with brown, yellow, and tan, and purple with black, yellow, and teal.  Awesome!

When it comes to scarves, for me, Size. Matters.  Big time.  And by “big time,” I mean I need my scarves to be big.  The Aloha is aptly named, not only because of its print, but because it can double as a sarong.

I’m not exaggerating.  Iz a beeg one.

This scarf around your neck adds instant chic to an outfit, simply by its look of complexity.  There is no way to look like you’re timidly testing out a style when you’ve got this guy on; the Aloha is a total queen: out and proud.

So, for now, layer this scarf on for warmth, but, come warmer temperatures, you will be completely in love with its lightweight cotton feel.  Multi-functional and made to last more through the changing seasons; I wish I could say the same about my last boyfriend.

What?
