March! Hey, everyone, Spring’s almost here. Thank. Goodness. I am almost as excited about the arrival of warmer weather as I am about Land Rovers.
…That’s ridiculous.
But I am really excited about it.
So what’s happening? I feel like this was a pretty uneventful week. Other than my discovery of everyone’s new favorite chipmunk, Justin Bieber (I actually just typed “Beaver,” as I can’t get past saying his name like that), nothing was all that monumental.
Wook at the widdle guy. He’s saying, “Let’s go skateboarding and talk about stuff that’s awesome.” That’s what he’s saying.
I did come across the most recent Urban Outfitters catalogue, which was life-changing, though that is expected. It turns out, they’re actually starting a bridal line soon.
Should be interesting, considering wedding dresses are usually, like…fancy. BUT I’m excited for their take on “bridal.” Their take on “catalogue” and “fashion photography” blew me away, so I am certain I will love whatever they show.
Speaking of shows, there are more than a few designers who push some crazy stuff down the runway, and Gareth Pugh is very much one of the pushers. However, his ready-to-wear collection for Fall 2010 contained some pieces that are almost ready-to-wear, which is something that was certainly not foreseen.
For example, how do you feel about a leather scarf? Practical and totally comfortable-looking, no? Hey, thanks, Pugh. I think I’m just gonna stick with cotton. And pashmina. I’m just gonna stick with that.
“Stick.” Stick reminds me of cling, which reminds me of a reeeally ballin’ outfit I saw this week. Rihanna. Is. Daring. It’s like the greatest hodgepodge of current trends I’ve ever seen. Turquoise, strong shoulders, jumpsuit, skinny leg, and flying squirrel wings. I don’t know how they did it. But they have achieved FASHION GOLD.
Or fashion turquoise. Whatever. It’s Rihanna.
So a friend was telling me they were tagged as someone who wasn’t them on facebook recently. And that’s not a big deal if the person you were confused with is, you know, attractive. Turns out, that happens with Lady Gaga, too. I wonder if she knows Paris Hilton has been stealing her clothes and having Gaga/Bryanboy dress-up time. In a bikini. Outside. I hate Californians.
BYTHEWAYLOOKATTHIS. Peace!
